Italian company seeks distributors for new solution to measure moisture and density in industrial processes

An Italian company, active in microwave sensing solutions, has realized and patented a smart solution kit that permit to measure and control the moisture, the density and temperature in any solid raw materials, liquid or semi-finished products (used in industrial production lines) in real-time and in a non-intrusive way. The solution system invented can, in fact, measure physical quantities among which moisture, temperature, density, possible defects, structural integrity, fiber strands orientation, chemical components, liquid coagulation and dielectric properties of raw materials, both solid and liquid, used in production processes. Sensors developed works on a microwave patented technology and are combined with an online management software which automatically calculates requested measurement. This solution is suitable for: - powders and ceramic powders - granular material (e.g. coffee) - semi-finished creams - liquid foods - starches, maize and derivatives. It can be installed at any point in the production line where there are tubes or conduits containing the product to be analyzed. This solution is already used in the tobacco industry, in the agrifood and pharmaceutical sector. *How it works Sensors work is based on the interaction between a microwave electromagnetic field and a physical matter, i.e. the material is irradiated with a high-frequency, low-energy signal and it interacts with the irradiation; thanks to the integrated analysis system, the sensor quickly scans the material and obtains real-time moisture and density values. The company is looking for partners willing to work under a distribution services agreement in China, Poland, USA and India.
