Description:
With a passion for colours a team of designers and artists from North Germany are developing and creating colour design concepts for public and private buildings.
As colours have a psychophysical and psychosomatic influence on people the designers use colours in architecture:
- to effect the visual and spatial experiences in building
- to mark and highlight areas in a building
- to express the function of a room / building.
- to create a special atmosphere
- to give orientation and draw attention
- to emphasize, subordinate or classify building structures and components.
Further their colour concept takes into account that the effect of a colour also depends on the spatial dimension in which it is used and the environment and surroundings of the location.
The designer team is eager to develop this concept in private and public architectural projects. So they have recently successfully implemented their colour interior design concept to senior residences, where the focus was set on giving the elderly people better orientation in the building and creating a cosy atmosphere. Further application of the colour concept was the design for inspiring and modern offices where primarily young people feel comfortable.
To increase their international network and sales, the designer team would like to cooperate with architects and/or interior designers, who are looking for new interior design solutions for public and private buildings. The cooperation would be in the form of subcontracting.
