A Polish company from the medical equipment sector intends to develop a new robot-assisted gait therapy. The firm is looking for medical institutions, preferably from Norway, with experience in treating gait disorders. It requests cooperation within the framework of the research cooperation agreement.
Description: 
A company from the northwest part of Poland has been operating in the medical equipment industry for over 30 years. The firm is a distributor and manufacturer of various medical devices, rehabilitation equipment in particular. They have an R&D department, design and construction department and over 10,000 m2 of production facilities. Their assortment includes devices for limb dysfunction therapy, phototherapy lamps, hydro-, physio- and thermotherapy equipment. The firm develops the products in close collaboration with physicians and therapists. It has an extensive experience collaborating with international partners and its devices are available worldwide, in Europe, Asia, Africa, both Americas and Australia. Currently, the company focuses on neurorehabilitation devices and healthcare robotics. They plan to develop a robot that will assist in gait disorders therapy and are looking for partners to do it with under the research cooperation agreement. The firm is particularly interested in healthcare institutions (hospitals, clinics, sanatoriums etc.) helping patients with these kind of illnesses. Within the framework of the partnership, the sides are expected to pool and share their knowledge, collaboratively work on the prototype and together apply for external funding. Partners from Norway will be preferred.
