A Croatian company contracted licensing deal with University and has developed a training model for functional endoscopic sinus surgery and for teaching anatomy of sinuses.
The model has been developed by a multidisciplinary team consisting of professors and surgeon from School of Medicine and Technical faculty. It contains 15 coronary slices with several anatomic regions included (i.e. maxillary sinus, ethmoidal sinus, sphenoid sinuses etc.). The functional prototype of the product has been tested with very good results and the targeted population (students) gave excellent feedback about the usefulness of the model. The model has been developed in several CAD/CAM systems with additive manufacturing technology.
The subject of the offer is distribution agreement so that the product can be distributed to international markets for example universities, as a learning material. The ideal partner should already have established a network of buyers. Should have been active in distribution of teaching models in medical field for at least 2 years. A product from zero series is available together with the manual (atlas) in English and latin language. The packaging of the model has also been developed.
