An Italian company offers organic products obtained by processing local varietes of fruits, under distribution service and commercial agency agreements

This South Italy based organic farm is a family business, which has been handed down from generation to generation. Over the years, there have been important changes both in culture and in the company structure. From a purely olive farm, it has turned into a citrus farm first and then fruits growing. After the farm has turned into a multifunctional company that carries out primary production, the stages of transformation, direct marketing, farmhouse and educational farm. Since 2004 the company has chosen to convert to organic farming, to support clean agriculture, and it is a member of an Italian association that support organic farming. Since July 2013 the company is registered at the American FDA (Food and Drug Administration). The company has an experience of decades of sales to the fresh market that allows it to be specialized not only in the production phase but also in the harvest phase. The farm has an area of about 20 hectares that are enabled to the cultivation of specific types of fruits/vegetables like Hayward kiwi, navel oranges, red oranges, Valencia late oranges, clementines, mandarins and olives. These fruits are processed in order to obtain organic compotes, organic nectars and fruit juices and extra virgin olive oil. The range of products offered also includes essential oils and organic powders. In details, the company offers these products: - Organic compote. The category of organic compotes includes sweet fruit preserves, obtained by vacuum-cooking fruit, grape sugar and spices. All the fruit is produced by the company in Calabria and the flavors are typical of this area (orange, bergamot, clementine, lemon, kiwi) in addition they have created combinations: orange and ginger, clementine and bergamot, clementine and liquorice, clementine and chilli, kiwi with lemon and ginger). The products are handmade without added refined sugars, thickeners, preservatives and dyes. These products are ideal for breakfast, a snack or appetizing aperitifs together with cheeses or crudités. - Organic nectars and fruit juices These are obtained by processing local fruits within 24 hours of collection applying the cold pressing technique The basic flavors are blonde orange or red orange, bergamot, clementine, lemonade, pomegranate and kiwi which can then be combined with ginger in the case of orange and kiwi to give a little spiciness to the palate. They are ideal for breakfast, snacks and also as an aperitif as ingredients of a fresh cocktail. - Oils The company offers a monocultivar organic extra virgin olive oil obtained by cold extraction. The orange essential oil can be used both for culinary use mainly in desserts, and for relaxing use in bathrooms or environmental diffusers. - Organic powders The organic spices of cinnamon cassia, turmeric, liquorice, chilli pepper and ginger represent a selection of organic spices, coming directly from the typical places of origin. The selected organic spices are used for the aromatization of some company brand products, but they are also offered as raw material to allow their home use. For the packaging of the products the company uses only glass, the most natural and safe packaging for foods. The wide range of the products offered also includes a kit for the homemade production of conserve with all the necessary ingredients and the recipe. Besides of the Italian market, the company has already traded in foreign countries, for example, China, France and Czech Republic. It would like to increase their sells abroad and it is looking for trade intermediaries. The collaborations will be respectively carried out under distribution and commercial agency agreements.
