Summary:
The Ukrainian company has created a device to clean the air from pathogenic viruses and bacteria, including COVID-19 in crowded places, premises and transport. Existing devices ionize the air, and this device electrifies the air and collects pathogenic viruses and bacteria on one of the electrodes. Companies interested in purchasing a prototype or serial production of this device for commercial operation under a license or production agreements are wanted.
Description:
A small private enterprise located in Stryy, Lviv region (Ukraine) has been working for a long time on development and manufacture of non-standard equipment, including the development of innovative technologies in the field of air purification. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has been working to create an electrostatic precipitator to clean the air of pathogenic viruses and bacteria in crowded places. The result of the work was the creation of a prototype of this device.
Today, about half of the world's population breathes air, which is officially recognized as harmful to health. It is now easier to prevent the problem than to deal with the consequences later. In addition, this problem is not of a local nature, but is a global problem.
If viruses or other pathogenic microorganisms are already "hanging" in the atmosphere of a room, the task of removing them with a filter is almost unrealistic. Currently, most air purifiers can only pass a small amount of air through the filter at a time. The rest of the air is constantly mixed with each other and therefore during filtration the concentration of microorganisms decreases very slowly on the inverse logarithmic scale. If there is a source of viruses and bacteria in the room, such as a person coughing, the situation with air filtration deteriorates to a literally catastrophic level.
The unique composition of the proposed technology affects the productivity of air purification in crowded places, premises (hospitals, railway stations, airports, supermarkets) and transport (trains, planes, buses). To reduce the risk of human disease and the emergence of epidemics such as COVID19, it is proposed to turn the room itself into a certain analogue of the electrostatic precipitator. By placing the electrodes in the room in a certain way and creating a large potential difference on them, of course, with a safe power limit, can be electrified all microorganisms in the air and they will quickly settle on one of the electrodes. Importantly! It is the process of electrification that should take place, not ionization. Therefore, it will be absolutely safe for people who are in the middle of such a room. In the future, after testing and certification, it is planned to establish mass production of the prototype device. The main advantage of this development is the ability to prevent and prevent the spread of viruses and bacteria, including COVID19.
The company is interested in finding reliable partners for the organization of serial production and distribution of this device air purifier abroad under a license agreement or production agreements. This Ukrainian company does not insist that the production of the device be concentrated in Ukraine. The device can be manufactured in a partner country or by agreement in another country.
1. In a typical licensing agreement, the licensor plans to provide the licensee the right to product and sell goods or use patented technology. But this Ukrainian company is interested in the potential partner also helping with the registration of international copyright for their invention.
2. Upon completion of pilot scale manufacturing or technology commercialization planned development of a full-scale technological business with access to international markets and wide distribution of products under a production agreement.
Type (e.g. company, R&D institution…), field of industry and Role of Partner Sought:
The company is looking for partners abroad to jointly manufacture and distribute a prototype air purifier in international markets under a long-term agreements: a license agreement or production agreements. It is expected that the partners will production and actively promote the product in the agreed territory and provide professional and quality support to consumers. The main thing is to establish mass production.
1.According to a typical licensing agreement, the licensor will provide the licensee the right to produce and and sell goods and also use patented technology.
2.Upon completion of pilot scale manufacturing or technology commercialization planned conclusion agreement of a serial manufacturing of the product.
