The Turkish IT company located in Ankara has been active in the field of network observability solutions for over 14 years. For the first time, the company introduces a new approach to orchestrate large, complex, segmented, multi-vendor and multi-domain networks. With the specially designed algorithms, the company is able to connect fibre, microwave, multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) and mobile layers. The company also connects separate network management to each other, provides cross-domain correlation and combines all network segments to present the real-time status of the network to operators in an end-to-end manner. In this way, the root causes of failures can be found with minimum effort and dramatic improvements gained in customer experience. Furthermore, network engineers make better efforts to aggregate data from several network management systems to obtain meaningful results about the network’s current situation. The company reduces this workload by automatically collecting and interpreting data and creating real-time reports specific to the domain. As a result, a central and holistic management approach that affects operators’ organizational structure bottom to top is gained and great efficiency in business processes, as well as reduction of capital expenditures/operational expenditures costs and operational risks, is achieved. The solution consists of 5 different modules with physical equipment and logical services. • SDH (synchronous digital hierarchy )module • DWDM (dense wavelength division multiplexing ) module • Tunnel module • Microwave module • Mobile RAN (radio access network) module Each of them addressing a different network technology and layer that works interrelated or independently. The company has a dedicated team to realize continuous R&D for the solution. By doing so, the solution’s data association capability is constantly increased to adapt the new network services to existing ones, correlation algorithms are regularly upgraded and learned more and more through the year by year accumulating data, multi-layered root cause analysis feature is being made more advanced to solve multi-domain network problems that previously could only be solved by gathering multi-disciplinary departments together, and the overall all the solution is constantly becoming more dynamic, intelligent and holistic. Additionally, the company performs R&D activities to achieve an artificial intelligence module to predict network alarms and outages. AI is planned to be launched in 2022 and a zero-touch network management platform to be presented in 2023.
