License offered for sustainable and circular packaging to replace single use plastic in home delivery of meals and to go market

The Dutch SME is active in designing and developing innovative packaging. The newly developed range consists of a range of packaging that can be used for home delivery or the to go market. The developed unique, sustainable and circular packaging is made of recycled paper with an easily removable thin layer of paper on the inside. The paper inlay is food approved. After removal, the box can be disposed of as paper waste. The thin layer of paper makes the packaging leak proof and has optionally a separate sauce compartment. The box has very good heat retention (comparable to expanded polystyrene (ePS)), an option for ventilation and is free from per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). It is easy to print on to make the box more personal (logo's etc.). The meals range is available in four sizes: - 800 ml for smaller dishes - 1000 ml for example pasta - 1600 ml for hamburger menus - 2000 ml for large dishes/portions This range of sustainable and circular packaging for home delivery or to go can be completed with the additional pop-up cup. The Dutch company is offering partners a license agreement to produce the packaging in-house. The packaging can also be delivered as a plano, so only gluing and folding is needed.
