Its clients have an international reach and are major international spirits brands. The company is looking for a partner in Europe able to produce and assemble several types of boxes made of medium density fibreboard, poplar plywood or hardwood depending on the model. Some of them require the installation of fixings. Up to now, the French SME covered all part of the production, but it has now decided to focus on finishing and packaging and wants to subcontract the boxes production. The company is growing and is working on its offer to bring more finishing and solution types to its clients in the spirits and cosmetics sectors. The French SME is working with a high level of lacquering, varnishing, painting according to the clients' expectations. The company looks for a long-term partner under manufacturing agreement.

The expected partner should be industrial manufacturer in wood working. The partner could be involved in the development of new boxes. Dimensions, thickness, wood species could be changed if there is cost saving while maintaining the technical characteristics of the box. The partner will be able to exchange, to bring possible new solutions in accordance with the company's development. The company must use certified wood (pan European forest certification PEFC, forest stewardship council FSC) and optimally NIMP 15 certification for hardwood species. A price quotation could be proposed to the French SME with variations prices depending on the quantities 500 / 1000 and 2000 pieces for 5 box references. The company is searching for one manufacturer for all wood box models or several manufacturers for each box references. A long-term partner, under a manufacturing agreement, is sought in Europe.
Technical Specification or Expertise Sought:
The partner should be an industrial manufacturer in wood working and assembling wood pieces with fixing system. The French SME would appreciate a high knowledge of wood product and wood machining. The partner should be equipped with computer numerical control (CNC) machines for a high quality of cutting for these materials:
• Medium density fibreboard
• Poplar plywood
• Hardwood as eucalyptus and beech timber
The shapes of the boxes are visible in the attached pictures. Each box has a drawing that will be shared with the partner who must read and understand wood box drawing. The respect of delivery deadlines is a crucial criterion. The estimated order frequency is every four months.
