A well-established Italian company manufactures a patented membrane check valve. It is a full flow, no water hammer check valve with a rubber membrane. Inside this valve, there's a special rubber membrane featured by an inlet with a circular section and a lip-shaped outlet. The opening of the membrane is proportional to the flow in the pipeline, it closes smoothly when the flow is reduced and its complete closure occurs before the flow reversal, thus preventing the water hammer. The membrane guarantees noiseless working operations and a perfect seal even with fluids containing suspended solid particles. The valve also guarantees a low-pressure loss and it's generally suitable for fluids (drinking water, wastewater, sewage) and compressed air and it's designed for working pressures up to 16 bar. This valve is used for residential and industrial plants, for water works, water supply systems, water treatment systems, steelworks, heating and conditioning systems, water treatment systems, water lifting or pumping. The valve range includes sub-ranges: standard, flanged, in cast iron, epoxy eco flanged, flanged with special coating, version with special coating and membrane for alimentary use, flanged in stainless steel, heavy duty flanged in carbon steel, threaded in brass, threaded in cast iron, threaded in stainless steel. The "foot valve version" with filtering screen is available too, for the flanged cast iron and for the threaded and flanged brass valves.
