One of the latest products in their portfolio is an automatic paper weight measuring system for paper production lines. It has been designed specifically for the quality control of impregnated paper, where production process is continuous and control conditions are specified in detail.
The machine is composed of a sample cutting unit, sample handling system, measuring system including a 6-axis industrial robot, calculating system and display, drying oven and precise scales.
The quality control process consists in cutting three round samples in the moving paper sheet, without shearing the material. Next, samples are transferred to the automatic resin content measuring unit. Measurement is performed after oven-drying.
This technology has been developed to control the production process of paper impregnated with phenol-formaldehyde or melamine-formaldehyde resins but it can also be adopted in any similar production lines to automate and streamline quality control process.
Commercial agreement with technical assistance is offered to manufacturing companies, especially in the paper industry or branches where paper laminates are used.
