A Belgian research organisation is looking for an olive oil producer in Greece, Italy or Spain to participate in a project proposal for the H2020 call BBI-2019-SO2-R5

The consortium is preparing a project proposal to submit under the call BBI-2019-SO2-R5, deadline 4 September 2019. The consortium will propose the production of a high-value biobased product coming from the treatment of olive oil wastewater. Six partners have confirmed their interest in taking part in the project that will be coordinated by a French company. The consortium is looking for an industrial company (oil production) interested in cooperating in an innovative approach for waste valorization, and ideally open to invest in fermentation equipment for in-situ pre-treatment of the wastewater. This industrial partner will have to timely provide the consortium with representative samples of their wastewater, solid and liquid. The partner will have to be involved in the design of the innovative solution by constructively describing the flows of the production processes, indicating the constraints (time, space, etc …). Ideally (but this should not be blocking) this partner should be willing to invest in the equipment necessary for the biological pre-treatment of the wastewater: a pilot-scale fermenter might be set in the last phase of the project.
