Description:
The awareness of the value of water has increased worldwide. It can be witnessed in the escalating cost of drinking water supply and sewage water discharge worldwide. The total demand for fresh water has also increased and our natural sources will be unable to compensate in the long run. It is clear that new sources of water must be developed. A German company’s vision is to enable consumers to better use the resources of rainwater and grey water, rather than fresh drinking water, in domestic and commercial applications The German company offers a modular commercial greywater recycling system that produces germ-free, high quality water. It is based on a membrane bioreactor principle with patented hollow membranes. The system has a capacity of up to 100 m³ a day. If needed multiple membrane stations can be used in parallel for even higher water volume requirements. The chemical consumption is low. An automated cleaning device and advanced remote control technology with a unique cloud platform is implemented to run the system nearly free from maintenance and thus very cost efficient. The system has the NSF 350 type C water re-use certification. The system pays off within less than five years and also allows BOO (build, own, operate) models. The system is designed for use in commercial buildings, hotels, apartment complexes as well as public utilities. There is a flexible range due to the modular set-up. Industrial partners, engineering firms or water utilities are sought for commercial agreements with technical assistance to install the technology or integrate it in their projects. The German company will assist with initial installation and transfer the necessary know-how.
