Dutch supplier of filters for maritime applications is looking for agents or distributors

The Dutch company is designer and manufacturer of HDPE filters. The filters are used in maritime applications such as in mud boxes in ship engine rooms of luxury yachts, but are also ideal for commercial ships and fishing boats. Normal filters corrode due to galvanic reactions, plastic filters do not. The filters are light, smooth, easy to handle, easy to clean, durable and recyclable. The seawater filters are submerged in seawater and placed in a glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRE ) or metal casting. This is allowed under International Maritime Organization rules (IMO) and Lloyds Register and others. Bilge water filters made from HDPE are also allowed and according to IMO-rules. The company is looking for agents and distributors, with focus on Sweden, Germany and England. Other countries are not excluded. At the moment they already have distributors in Italy and England and are working with an agent in Turkey. They are looking for companies that are active in the maritime world and are suppliers to shipyards, shipping companies and system integrators. The products are especially suited for professional shipbuilding and less for pleasure crafts. The filters initially appear to be a premium product, but they lower the total cost of ownership (TCO).
