French design office specialised in ecological cool roofing coating solutions seeks partners in Europe under distribution services agreements

In the current and widespread context of climate change, the adaptation of buildings to overheating is a major challenge. In the majority of cities, the increase in temperature peaks are exacerbated by the urban heat island effect : the envelopes of buildings absorb solar flux, store energy to turn it inside, but also outside. Building with Coolroof absorb less heat and in consequence are cooler limiting air conditioning requirements and so greenhouse gas emission but also limiting urban heat island effect. In this way, the French design office was founded in 2015 with the objective to offer a passive cooling technology that is a high quality reflective paint using materials that are in priority locally sourced and as ecological as possible without volatil organic compounds (VOC). Indeed, the company has fully developed a cool roofing solution that increases reflectivity of the roof and therefore limit heat absorption by the building thanks to this specific and durable reflective paint. This solution can decrease of 7°C the temperature inside the building during summer. This cool roofing solution allows to reduce the consumption of greenhouse gases from air conditioning systems. It is compatible with bitumen, metal and fibre support. It combines a complementary double-coating of roof surfaces: • base coat (such as white paint with ultra reflective particules): first coat, elastomer and thermal emissivity • top coat (such as transparent varnish): finishing coat, maximal reflectance and durable protection against fouling The SME is currently well implanted in France and also in Senegal and over 100 000 sqm have been covered in white. However, the SME has an increase of demands all over Europe but can not answer it-self. As a result, the French SME is looking for trade intermediaries and is looking for long-term partners under distribution services agreements.
