For 15 years, the French company has been offering a tailor-made ecological packaging solution. They have an exclusive license agreement to use the US patents and the know-how of the US Company. The US company gave them the technical know-how so they are the only one in Europe allowed to produce and sell this type of crates.
In order to replace the wooden crates for good protection of any items when shipping overseas, they manufacture custom corrugated cartons. Their durable crates are made from recycled products and they are also recyclable. They can easily be destroyed (unlike wooden crates that require an expensive destruction authorization). There are different advantages to the corrugated cartons that make them an economical alternative to wooden crates (less indirect costs allowing a cheaper price).

In all cases, the US patent is only on production. There is no influence on the decision of the partnership agreement sought. Also, the partner is sought in Europe.
