The product portfolio includes licensed drugs, medical devices, OTC pharmaceuticals, organic food supplements and natural cosmetics made from loess. Currently, the company follows two different internationalisation strategies. Austria and Switzerland were chosen as target markets because of their similarities to the German market and due to proximity (concentric approach strategy). Russia, UAE and Lithuania were chosen as additional target markets in an insular approach strategy.
As a next step, large European target markets were chosen because they promise to offer the highest potential (selective approach stratey for the UK, Poland, Italy, Spain and France).
To achieve this strategy, the management is looking to establish a cooperation with qualified trade intermediaries under a distribution services or commercial agency agreement. A long-term cooperation is targeted. Suitable partners should have reliable contacts to the preferred sales channels and excellent expertise regarding requirements.
