German producer of mobile machinery for water maintenance machines is looking for distribution partners

An SME from Northern Germany founded in 1964 is active in the development and production of mobile machinery for the maintenance of water systems. The machinery is suitable for the cleaning and mowing of open water from small ditches to coastal waters. The systems are either installed on land vehicles, boats and amphibious systems, as well as attachments on standard tractors. The portfolio of land operated machinery contains two different tractors. One of the self-propelled units is working with flail mowers, mowing buckets, branch cutters, tree saws, clamshell-buckets and wood grapples. The machine enables the work on both sides of the machine, as well as towing trailers. The driver's work will be comfortable with a rotatable cabin and an outstanding all-around view. The other self-propelled unit is specialised for efficient ditch cleaning, its narrow track width enables the mowing in narrow residential areas or next to fields without destroying crops. With the adjustable support wheel boom the mower is ready to work in deep and shallow ditches. The machine enables parallel operation of a cutting unit and a rake. In one step the embankment is mowed and the clippings are removed from the ditch. The SME's floating machinery portfolio contains mowing and weed harvesting boats, dredges and amphibious vehicles. The boats are available in different standard sizes, to fit the individual users need and to meet the size and conditions of the respective water system. The boats are propelled by hydraulic augers with weed protection to prevent them from getting stuck. Additionally the boats meet high demands regarding swimming stability, work performance, safety and environmental protection. Different systems for cutting and collecting of plants in one step, e.g. rooted floating aquatic plants, algae and water hyacinths, but also waste in rivers, canals and lakes are available. The dredges are suitable for the clearance of waters by suction and excavation. The amphibious equipment offers protected auger drives for operations in water and tracks for operation on solid ground and is equipped with attachments for mowing, weed harvesting or excavation or suction for clearance works. The amphibious equipment impresses with its ability to drive from a trailer directly into the water. The offered working attachment portfolio includes a broad range of cutting and mowing equipment with different hydraulic mowers, mower rake combinations, mowing buckets and a range of different tree cutting tools, raking and clearing equipment, dredging and digging equipment, desludging and milling equipment as well as demolition hammers. The attachments are designed to fit in standard mounting areas of tractors and are driven by the hydraulic system of the tractor. The company is looking for distribution and commercial agency agreements to increase their turnover in international markets. The SME is especially searching for partners: - with experience in the sales, repair and maintenance of construction machinery - with agricultural equipment with established contact with relevant target groups. Target groups are i.e. public authorities active in the management of water systems or companies which are active in the area of landscape management or maintenance of water systems. Another relevant application area is the harvesting of algae and other water crops for economical use.
