The innovative German SME developed a solar-powered, independent and therefore mobile air ventilation system for boats, tents, caravans, mobile homes and camper vans. It is intended to be used in the wintertime or when the caravan is not in use for a longer time.
With no need to attach it to the caravan, the system is easy to assemble and fully operational upon receipt. After opening one of the skylights it can just be put up on top, without causing damage to the vehicle. It operates by siphoning fresh air, warming it up and then feeding it to the interior of the caravan. By continously blowing fresh, dry air into the caravan for weeks and months, the ventilation system helps to prevent musty smells and damage caused by moisture and mold. Improving the indoor climate therefore contributes to preserve the caravan's value.
Unlike most conventional dehumidifiers this innovative air ventilation system is entirely self-sufficient, as it does not require a power connection or chemicals/desiccants for its utilization. This way it provides a very natural, carbon-neutral, sustainable and cost-effective solution, which is good for the environment and humans as well. Furthermore the system is characterized by very low noise emission and its aesthetic design.
