This French SME is producing hand made decoration - so-called hair jewels - which are then fitted to hair clips metal frames which they supply from other companies. Their customers are larger brands on international markets.
Up to now, they had a domestic supplier, the last one existing in France which just closed down business.
They are looking for sourcing new suppliers for these frames from abroad under a supplier agreement.
Cheaper metal frames have been identified in Asia but they do not meet the quality standards required by their customers.
They believe that such metal frame hair clip manufacturers still operate in Italy or some Eastern Europe countries and perhaps in the Mediterranean countries as well, which can meet the quality standards.
Those metallic frames consist in gilded frames, click claks type, "crocodile" like clips, automatic "unlosable" clips and spring-hinged clips (see illustrations in attachements).
The company is willing to receive deliveries in batches of several hundreds but not several thousands.
