The solution does not need any major initial investments (e.g. smart scales, external consulting teams) - it works perfectly with a network connection and a terminal device (e.g. a tablet). 2. The solution ha been developed and piloted together with over 30 Finnish restaurants, and the software is extremely easy to use. Recording the food waste takes only 5 minutes per day, and results are achieved very quickly. 3. The service offers continuous reporting and analytics based on the amount of recorded food waste. User can use this data to optimize order volumes (i.e. to reduce waste), save on raw material costs and reduce carbon footprint. 4. The solution is developed constantly and new functionalities will be introduced this year. For example, with a built-in machine learning software, the service will simulate and adapt order volumes automatically, while also including external factors, ultimately leading up to 50-75% reduction in food waste reduction with less time.
