UK company has developed a 100% transparent, reusable and recyclable, commercially produced face mask covering and supply clients in the medical and health care industries.
They are looking to enhance the TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) product surface with permanent hydrophilic properties to prevent fogging and misting up.
Exhaling on TPE material usually creates a fogging effect and currently the mask material is being is being used with a temporary anti fog treatment.
They require a treatment (ideally via additive, functionalisation or coating) so the material remains anti fog after exhaling on it or during temperature changes. Treatment needs to work after injection moulded production, multiple washes and over an extended period of time.
They are looking to work with partners under a commercial agreement with technical assistance, licencing or manufacturing agreement to develop the permanent anti-fog and anti-mist treatment for their masks.

The company is looking to work collaboratively to find a permanent anti-fog and anti-mist treatment either under a commercial agreement with technical assistance, licencing or manufacturing agreement. The technology may be transferred to the UK under license or commercial agreement with technical assistance, or done under a manufacturing agreement at the partner's site.
