Sharpening angle is adjustable from 0 to 90 degrees. Proper cooling of the sharpened surfaces is ensured by a cooling system with a tank and a magnetic filter (magnetic separator) equipped with 6 neodymium magnets. The standard machine has a 7-inch HMI (human-machine interface) touch panel (functions on the panel in English), a PLC controller and a carriage speed control system.
The machine is perfect for sharpening special-purpose knives, where high grinding accuracy is required, e.g. guillotine knives for cutting paper. The grinder can be equipped with any grinding wheel for grinding knives with an HSS (high speed steel) insert, cemented carbide insert, or dedicated to numerically-controlled knives.
As additional equipment to the above-mentioned grinder, the company manufactures coolant separators that are used in metalworking machines. They produce magnetic and paper separators (with increased filtration efficiency). These add-ons improve the overall efficiency of the sharpening process.
