Description:
The Polish SME, producer of decorative cards and posters, was created in 2019. In their products the company follows the Scandinavian philosophy, which relates to all aspects of life, from ecology to work-life balance and interpersonal relations. This approach means „more or less not too much, not too little - just right.” The company creates its product based only on biodegradable materials.
The SME is looking for biodegradable polymers granules for the conversion to flexible films using a blown film or cast film process, for application as a packaging films.
The Polish company is interested in cooperation within the framework of supplier agreement based on a yearly quantity of 500 to 1000 kg.

The SME is interested in manufacture companies of biodegradable polymers in order to buy these products from them. The company can either arrange for collection of manufactured product from a partner's factory gate (ex-works) or accept product brought to the customer's premises (delivered). The partner must have experience in exporting their products.
Technical Specification or Expertise Sought:
The granulates should be based on polybutylenesuccinate or as a mixture with polylactic acid or with polycaprolactone. The granulate must have a high coefficient of relative elongation (preferably> 100%), a relatively low modulus of elasticity (Young's) (preferably <900 MPa) and high breaking strength (preferably > 2000 MPa). This raw material should also be:
-thermoplastic,
-biodegradable,
-derived from renewable sources
-transparent (as far as possible),
It is desirable that the material has a biodegradable label certificate, although not compulsory, in case of not having these requirements, the company is also interested in pelletized polymers without certificates and with properties similar to those aforementioned. Particularly, in the high biodegradation properties.
