The intense-innovative technology company with headquarters in Germany and an Engineering and Production facility in Slovakia is integrating pressure amplification in hydraulic cylinders. With around 20 employees and partners it develops and manufactures cartridge pressure amplifiers which are integrated into hydraulic cylinders to increase the hydraulic pressure in the cylinder. This can result into more force and speed from the existing system or smaller system with the same parameters. Potential applications can be found in various industries, where high force is required e.g. excavator attachments for demolition, industrial presses, handheld hydraulic cutting tools, specialized off highway machinery.
Since cartridge pressure amplifier works in the hydraulic cylinder, they seek partners - hydraulic cylinder manufacturers that will help explore potential market for the amplifier. This requires combined engineering activities and prototype testing of the product as well as identification of customers willing to consider value proposition of cylinder with integrated pressure amplifier in their markets. They would like to establish partnerships based on a commercial agreement or technical cooperation agreement.

The existing cartridge amplifiers (CAs) are designed for cylinder inlet flow of 300, 200 and 100 lpm (liter per minute). This size is appropriate for heavy duty cylinders e.g. being used in demolition attachments (shears, crushers) with piston rod diameter generally above 120mm. Now, they are enlarging our product portoflio by a small CA with a inlet flow of 20 lpm targeted on the small and more common hydraulic cylinders (piston rod from ca. 60mm up).
With hydraulic cylinder manufacturers willing to integrate our new CA into their cylinders, they would team up with them with the final aim to develop new applications which can be sold as innovative products on a global scale.
