The turbine swimming system, developed by the German SME, offers sophisticated training conditions and consumes only a fraction of the energy required by conventional counter-current systems. It was designed for new pool constructions. The extremely narrow shaft requires very little space and disappears completely into the pool wall. Additionally for retrofitting in existing pools the company offers a retrofit system for any pool. The turbine swimming systems work with underwater turbines, which generate a wide, even and powerful flow as in natural waters and thus enable endurance-based swimming training. Both systems are available in different performance levels with maximum volume flows between 160 and 1200 m3/hour and are suitable not only for demanding endurance swimming but also for wellness applications and fun splashing around. A wide range of accessories is available for the systems, including coloured LED shaft lighting. Beside the very little space, there is no need for a separate room for the technology, no complex piping and also no high-voltage connection (normal 230 V connection). The system is controlled by remote control, piezo button or with a special training app (available for Android and iOS). The retrofit turbine swimming system can quickly and easily integrated into existing pools. The German SME is searching for distribution partners and commercial agencies from abroad to increase their turnover by international sales.
