The company is the largest meat processing industry in Serbia, with a wide range of products and a big number of quality awards due to the top quality of their products, modern production techniques and the application of high quality standards. The company has quality control systems ISO 9000:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 for the protection of the natural environment, the OHSAS 18001 quality system for work protection, as well as HACCP certificates, with which the company enhanced existing systems to administrate the health safety of meat and meat products, respecting national and international legislation. The HACCP certificate confirms that the technological solutions applied in the production lines satisfy EU regulations. The company has been present on the market for more than one hundred years now - they started as a small company that had as its main goal to export fresh meat and cattle to Western Europe markets, and by the late 80's of the twentieth century, prepared meat was exported to Sweden, beef in sauce and beef goulash to Germany, while foiled and canned ham was exported to the U.S.A. The result the company’s years-long activity is a rich assortment of over 120 products: meat pastes prepared from top-quality meat without preservatives and animal fat, Milano and Ungherese salamis, levach sausages, winter salamis, foiled and canned ham, meaty bacon, fermented (durable) sausages, smoked products, chicken and turkey products, meats slices etc. The company uses slice packing (with inert gas), and modified air packing (MAP) for pork and calf meat that enhances the hygiene of the product. This airtight meat packing with a modified atmosphere contains mainly oxygen. During the production and sale process, the temperature of this packed meat does not exceed 4ºC, which prevents the formation of harmful microorganisms. The main advantage of MAP technology is that it keeps flavor, enhances hygiene and makes easier to separate the slices of meat, which stays fresh and tasty during the whole validity term of the product.
