The Italian company was founded in Modica in 2003 with the desire to stay and work in Sicily, and to make the region well-known for its delicacies.
It believes in the respect for and the preservation of the local traditions and culture, this is why its entire production combines elements of the Sicilian tradition and innovation.
Initially born to produce only Modica chocolate, the company soon decided to offer also a “liquid” alternative to it, the chocolate liqueur.
Then, it further increased the production of liqueurs, introducing several new flavours, such as almond, pistachio, wild fennel, cinnamon, and carob.
In the last few years, the company has also decided to invest not only in a big range of products, but also in the Sicilian territory, carrying on reception and hospitality activities.

Chocolate bars are made in several flavours, ranging from the most traditional and classy (for example: Modica chocolate Neropuro; chocolate bars 100% cocoa; chocolate bars with vanilla; chocolate bars with pistachio) to the most peculiar and innovative (e.g. chocolate with Trapani sea salt; Arauca; chilli pepper; chocolate with extra virgin olive oil; and chocolate with mandarins of Ciaculli).
The liquors are available in several flavours, it is possible to find not only the classic chocolate liquor, but also chilli pepper chocolate liquor, mint chocolate liquor and others.
Last but not least, the company also produces cocoa grappa that presents an higher percentage of alcohol (40%) if compared to liquors.
Each product is free of milk and any animal derivate, making it perfect for both vegans and non vegans.
The dimensions of the packaging vary:
- Liquors 50 and 10 cl: glass bottle, aluminium cap, adhesive label, satin ribbon. Dimension: Bottle 50 cl - 978 g. 27,2(H)X17,8X5,5 cm. Bottle 10 cl - 280 g. 18,47(H)X4,04 diameter.
- Chocolate bar 100 gr: plastic film for food use, cardboard box. Dimension 110 g. - 14,8X6,2X1,8 cm.
- Chocolate bar 50 gr: aluminium for food use, case in recycled and recyclable cardboard, wrapping and outer band in cardboard. Dimension 70 g. - 17,2X8,5X1,8 cm.
The standard boxes are:

- Liquors 10 cl - 1 box: 18 bottle
- Chocolate 100 gr - 1 box: 12 bars
- Handmade Chocolate 50 gr - 1 box: 6 bars
For what concerns the expiration date, while chocolate should be consumed at most 15 months after production, liquors do not have an expiration date, however, it is recommended to consume them within 6 months of opening to fully appreciate their organoleptic properties.
For transportation it is recommended to use refrigerated transport in summer for chocolate. The pallets can be composed according to customer needs and can include various types of products.
The company is currently exporting in the following countries: Germany, UK, Usa, Singapore, and Hong Kong and now aims at increasing its business with new distribution channels.
