Spanish modular construction SME seeks distribution and commercial agency agreements to distribute its Covid-19 containers and find new projects

The Spanish SME was formed this year with the purpose of taking on the modular construction branch from its parent engineering company, which has been operative since 2001, and on the modular construction field for 4 years already. They offer modular construction based on the transformation of maritime containers and specific structures made to the client's needs. The company has designed and relocated more than 160 containers for different sectors and businesses, such as retail (especially shopping malls), restaurants, leisure activities etc., generally with the objective of expanding the businesses' space. CHARACTERISTICS OF THEIR MODULAR CONSTRUCTIONS The main structure of the facilities is made of steel and they conform to local regulations, conditioning them with insulation (thermal and acoustic), facilities (air conditioning, electricity, plumbing, communications etc.) to offer all the comforts of a regular home or a commercial space (shops, restaurants etc.) The measurements are: - Construction with maritime containers 6x2.44x2.9 meters or 12x2.44x2.90 meters - Other types of modular constructions for homes or buildings 6.50x3x4 meters Transport is done by roads in trails of standard dimensions or special transport. COVID-19 SOLUTIONS The company has developed multiple solutions regarding the current pandemic: 1) Access control to facilities: it is a turnkey solution for the control of secure access to facilities, which includes an adapted container with all the security measures proposed by the OMS. Its elements: - Mask detectors - Control cameras that measure the temperature in the tear - Non-contact gel sanitizers - Sanitizers for shoe soles. The adapted container is an airtight space, with different automated accesses for entry and exit and can be placed at the entrance of hospitals (or any center with a high level of public influx) guaranteeing access and exit without infection. 2) Visiting room for geriatrics: it consists on a container adapted as a meeting room for safe visits, mainly focused on the geriatric sector. The container is set up with a central window, which separates the room into two spaces and allows family members and users of the residences to see and hear each other, without the possibility of tactile contact. 3) Modular building designs to be annex to hospitals, in response to the new demands for beds and ICUs. The SME's current markets are Portugal and Spain; however, it has presented projects in USA, Panama and Angola. They normally work through commercial partnerships and public contracts. They seek for commercial agency and distribution agreements with parties involved in the construction sector, leisure and activities sector, retail, restaurants, and any other field where this product can be applied to. The company is in search of a long-term partnership in order to collaborate in multiple projects.
