The Swedish company is producing advanced machining technology for the automotive and airline industry. The company export their products to the USA and Europe and they are in an expanding phase. In order to continue to grow they need to expand their supplier base and they are now looking for a new supplier in the EU, particularly in the Baltic States and other Central and Eastern European countries.
There is a large variation of products sought. Starting at small items, 10 mm in diameter, and ranging up to large items that are 5 meters. The main part of the items are however in the range of 50mm – 300mm in diameter.
Production batch range from 50 pcs to 200 pieces and the Swedish company would like a bracket price list (price for 5pcs, 10pcs, 50 pcs etc.). The Swedish company can accept a programming cost and possibly a fixture cost but no tool costs.
Lead time varies from 2-6 weeks. The supplier can expect a prognosis but should also be used to produce items for a buffer/safety stock to shorten the lead time and offer the Swedish company a larger flexibility.
Sought partner company should have good logistic location taking into account the export to Sweden. Also, production unit costs should be on a competitive level. The potential partner candidate should have some export activities at the moment.

The Swedish company would like potential suppliers to send a list of their available machinery. The Swedish company would also like to know what the suppliers see themselves as extra good at – e.g. turning, milling etc.
