Description:
The Turkish SME operates in the biotechnology industry since 2018. The company has 75 meter square production area where goat polyclonal antibody (anti-mouse, anti-rabbit and anti-human) production and purification; ELISA kit design, validation and production are carried out. In the company, 3 quantitative ELISA kits had been developed and validated for antigen and antibody detection by now. Using protein purification system, up to 100 mg of secondary antibody purification per goat in a month can be performed for now. In addition to that, 200 ELISA kits can be produced per month.
The company is collaborating with an experimental animal breeding and supplying facility which had been certified by the Ministry of Food and Livestock, where the host animals such as mouse, guinea pig, rabbit, goat, donkey, and swine are cared and sheltered and also injections with antigens and blood collection processes are carried out. Through this easily accessible facility, the company can be involved in studies requiring experimental animals.
In the company, antigen and antibody cloning, production and purification studies by using recombinant DNA technology has been started. By this technology, it could be produced up to 2 mg recombinant protein per week. The company would like extend its activities abroad through distribution service agreement.
