Description:
This UK SME is a disruptive digital receipting software company based in South Wales and has been operating in the IT industry since 2014. The core team is made up of experienced software professionals and experts in digital receipting for consumer/retail environments.
The offering client has developed a centralised digital receipting platform and mobile application which uses Bluetooth and near-field communication (NFC) to transmit contactless e-receipts to customers in real-time. The app is free of charge to download and retains all digital receipts and warranties on a handheld device.
The software offers retailers and customers a set of features such as:
• Proof of purchase/payment with line level transactional data.
• Integration with eCommerce and electronic point-of-sale (EPOS) suppliers.
• Integration with mobile payment providers and payment terminals.
• Data insights into customer buying behaviours.
• Targeted promotions and location-based offers via mobile app.
The client offers the proprietary platform to eCommerce/electronic point-of-sale (ePOS) suppliers and merchant service providers in preferably English-speaking countries across the Network under licensing and distribution services agreements.
Licensing and distributing the software to such partners will enable the platform and app to provide proof of payment, purchase, and digital warranty to both retailers and customers. Quick and simple integration of the software would allow ePOS and merchant service providers to work immediately with the product and efficiently license out to local retailers.
The client also offers a revenue share model to all partners – ensuring all parties involved benefit from utilising the innovative platform.
Such partner types are chosen to give the client quick access to international retail markets and give all parties the opportunity to increase market presence. The offering client aims to become the global market leader in digital receipting and become as prominent as existing leaders, like Visa, as a result of international partnership.
Type (e.g. company, R&D institution…), field of industry and Role of Partner Sought:
The offering client aims to partner with eCommerce / electronic point-of-sale (ePOS) suppliers and merchant service providers of any size from countries across the Network under licensing and distribution agreements.
Partners would be required to undertake quick and simple integration of the platform to allow for immediate use and licensing out of the digital receipting solution.
Ideal partners will be legacy ePOS providers, tablet based or integrated ePOS/payment providers, and eCommerce channels for digital receipt management.
Partners should have strong English-speaking capabilities and reside in an English-speaking country / market where English is predominantly used in retail environments. Whilst English-speaking countries are preferred, the client is open to all countries as the software can be translated to suit the market’s language requirements.
Technical Specification or Expertise Sought:
Prospective ePOS / merchant service partners will need to be able to integrate this digital receipting platform through near-field communication/Bluetooth or through Restful Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
However, this is not mandatory, and the offering client would be open to working with partners without such skills.
