Established in 2001, this UK SME is a designer and manufacturer of healthcare and assisted daily living products. With backgrounds in health and the medical sectors, the company founders have created a wide range of disability living aids, from bathroom to kitchen, equipment to help around the home and dressing aids.

The product is a treatment in the form of a gelling fiber dressing. It disrupts bacterial and yeast (candida) biofilms, has a long-lasting antimicrobial effect and at the same time is highly absorbent for treating highly exuding wounds. It outperforms leading silver dressings in tests on fibroblast cells, showing significantly reduced local toxicity, creating a unique combination. The company are working with respected independent labs and universities on these tests to build a strong research base for the product. The active component is an iodophor (iodine compound).

The app is based on over 160 health activities and personalised avatars allowing each family to gamify their experience and track progress.
