This is a modern industrial firm which holds the accumulated experience of three generations of a salt refining family, it is located in Puglia region, in the South of Italy. Sea salt is excavated from Adriatic Sea and then slowly evaporates in salting basins under power of sun and wind until the sodium chloride reaches 25,5° and 30° Baumé (salt concentration - saturation index). Then the water is removed and sea salt is harvested from the bottom of the salting basins. On average 27 kg of salt are obtained from 1 cubic meter of sea water.

The company is active in three main fields of operations. The first is air quality monitoring, specifically for outdoor air quality sampling and measurement systems. Instruments are engineered for a wide variety of atmospheric samplers, analysers and sampling or analysis accessories. Second field of operations is in industrial emissions, for which the company designs and manufactures technical instruments for stack sampling. The third field of operations refers to occupational health and working environment.
